I am speechless. I am without speech. Okay, speech is back. Do you have any close up pics? How long did this take? How many different colors did you use? What kind of frame did you use? What kind of cloth is it? I know that's alot of questions, sorry. I'm very interested and intrigued and amazed.
You guys are awesome! I'm so glad I joined Craftster! This pattern is by Dome, which is a Korean company. Dome patterns are impossible to find in the US. If you look on ebay, sometimes you can find them. The best I've been able to do with the internet is a site called http://www.jasulove.co.kr/. Even if you can't speak Korean, you should click through the pictures, because there is some really cute stuff. My reading comprehension and written Korean are terrible, but as soon as I can cobble together a coherent email to the site's owner, I'll let you know if she ships to the US.
Kwan Yin took me a year to finish. I was unemployed for four of those months, so I got a lot done then. Oh, her actual measurements are 28 ins x 15 ins. The colors are pretty bold and there isn't a whole lot of shading, so I think that's what made it go quickly. I really like doing big projects.
If I remember correctly, she's done on 16 or 18 ct. aida cloth.
Here are some detail photos. They are shiteous because I am not a good photographer.
Thanks for all your kind words!
