first off, a supremely useful apron made from sweet upholstery fabric - didn't get a full frontal view, but it's an apron. you get the idea.

i love pockets!

next up, a bag made of deelishus clock fabric and lace.

very steampunk, my favorite!

and finally, a hat of the 'fascinator' variety, with roses and veiling (it's a bit hard to see the netting in the photo.) Great photo - the flower print curtains, cat's eye glasses, and roomie's goofy expression really go together, no?


there were some cute little extras, though i forgot pictures of those. a little victorian necklace with the prettiest chain, and a vintage book of needles. both completely adorable!

this is so fuzzy and warm - i love it and want to make one for myself, but not until it's colder. yarn is hot.

Everything electronic hates me this week - anything more technological advanced than a fork is refusing to work for me. Ah well, at least I have sweet dotees to ease the pain!

the face is printed on fabric? i'm not sure exactly how that worked, but she's gorgeous. Kind of demure, but like she's about to do something rather naughty. 
lots of sequins, beads, and a heart lock and key. Too sweet!


I'm going to try and get a full length shot and add it on. Keep your fingers crossed!

I received a beautiful I atc from mamaedgar today:



as I told her, I was already having a lovely craft-centered day, and getting such a beautiful atc just put the icing on the cake.
it's hard to tell in this picture but the burnt-edge paper is on a standard card. the text reads "it seems as though...Icarus..fl ew too close when his father....fell into the sea(?) and drowned" or something like that. the text is appropriately fragmented so that's the approximation anyhow.

yes, my dears, that is a conjoined twin dotee. is that the coolest thing you've ever seen, or what? and isn't their little heart just adorable? pinkleo, that made me laugh when i first saw it, and i'll probably smile every time from now on whenever i see it. thank you!

craftydame, you really did some lovely embroidery for your cards - love that day of the dead card!

my roommate just would not believe that it was an elk, not a deer. we had to look it up online before she would concede.

Yeah, I completely forgot about pressing those leaves last fall - worked out perfectly!

F is for Fox! It's next to the card it came in, I thought it was so pretty it deserved to be in the picture, too.

hmm, I guess I should have taken a bigger picture, you can't see the fox close enough to do it justice. well, y'all will just have to take my word that it is embroidered with beautiful, very neat stitching.

I'm sad that I've received all my cards for this round - I want the next round to get going so I can get more pretties!
