1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Gauge Drama on: November 09, 2012 02:31:02 PM
lol I have a problem with this too sometimes. If I'm following a pattern with the correct yarn and needle tho, I don't have a problem its when I go it alone I have this problem. Do you make your test swatch with the yarn you picked? Sometimes I'm OK with it, sometimes it simply doesn't work.
2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Removing iron on rhinestones? on: February 16, 2010 05:38:36 AM
I made a cute apron last night but ruined it by putting iron rhinestone letters on it. Any one with advice on removing them cleanly?
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Life Sized Cookie Mini Tute on: February 10, 2010 12:43:46 PM
so you bake the mirror with the polymer clay or do you build the clay around the mirror, take the mirror out and then replace it after baking with glue? Ive never done anything like this so Im clueless. I would be afraid the mirror would break or something in the oven.

this is too cute btw thanks for sharing!
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Cameo Soap on: January 22, 2010 06:07:27 AM
OMG mitchell-b, I have had the same mold for quite some time now.

I LOVE your soaps btw very pretty and creative, and thank you so much for posting these, you gave me the courage to go ahead and give a try and they came out pretty nice. I have never done soaps either so I just added some scent and color, I didn't use anything creative. Also I'm going to give them to my friend that loves cameos for her b-day that's coming up. I used purple as its my friends fav color for the bottom part.

Now I really want to try adding cocoa and cinnamon!  Grin and I really wanna try a beer soap too now  Shocked, but I need to really look into soaps more, before I get too ambitious. I'm glad you got on the front page!

BUT thank you thank you for posting these beautiful soaps!

I love these undies! very cute!

I told my bf I wanted him to make me something for valentines instead of spending money and he made me a cute (although kinda funny looking  Cheesy) plaque saying Brian loves Maggie, and he used his wood burning kit and paints. I love that thing and its hanging in my barn (craft room) to this day.

I'm sure your girl will love them, they are really cute!

& lol @ manlyman

I should encourage my bf to get on craftster and share the fishing contraptions that he makes (just stuff that makes life easier while fishing, and he actually makes his own weights), I think we definitely could use more testosterone in craftster. Dudes make cool stuff! Grin

8  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Spooky fireplace on: October 26, 2009 01:32:56 PM
My house is still going through some construction and so when we were preparing for our halloween party this weekend I was really annoyed because my fireplace is still tore up with the tile removed.

so last minute I painted this scene using brown paper I had in a large roll from painting furniture outside

I think this is kinda cute, even if your fireplace isn't torn up, I didnt have much time so the quality of my painting is pretty sad but everyone got a kick out of it.
