1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Winter inchie-houses gallery on: December 30, 2013 07:07:20 AM

This lovely little gem came from cmarion3.  I love it all, but especially the little spider waiting to be arranged in a creepy attack pose.

This marvel came from blupaisan.  The baby calf just killed me!  How do you cut it out so fine?  This barn comes with ramp for easy animal access, a fine silo for all your storage needs, and haystack for you to look for needles in.  (Seriously need that, since I lost a big needle in my wrist cushion for my desk.)

Will post more when I get a chance to put more together... the kids have had a tummy bug they're trying to share with me.

thanks laetari - poor guy never got sick then in 2004 he got GBS (http://www.cdc.gov/flu/protect/vaccine/guillainbarre.htm) and now he never just gets a cold - but he's tough and always fights it off - I'm not near that tough.

Ever get the temptation to hum "It's a Small World"?  I didn't follow the link... I had GBS in 2011 9 days after my second baby was born.  I'm so sorry your family had to go through/are still going through that.  Hugs.

I have houses to post and pm's to send this morning but wanted to let you all know that my husband is in the hospital with Septic Shock, super low blood pressure and Pneumonia - took him to the ER yesterday - he has major health issues but always responds well to treatment - he's ornery so nothing keeps him down for long.

but I will be checking in so no worries there - if things do go too far south I will get one of the mods to step in.

I will be going back up to see him shortly - thank goodness it's a weekend.

Good heavens!  I know you said he's been sick, but that's pretty sick.  I'll keep you guys in my prayers.  Hopefully his usually orneriness will get him out of there in no time!  Don't break your neck posting in here if things get hairy.  Love!

Posting everywhere so my partners know... I finally was able to get my mail!  Sorry I got a little quiet... it was starting to get rather embarrassing.  I love them all!  When I find my camera, (huge sigh)  I will post their gorgeousness.  Merry Christmas all!

Grin Merry Christmas All!  Still missing my keys, but my husband found his mail box key so I have a bunch of inchies!  (For those following, Operation Stalk the Mailman was an abysmal flop)  Woohoo!  Thank you to blupaisan, faemystique, cmarion3, goatgoddess, and I Sew Cute.  I am super tickled to finally drool over your lovely houses!  Sorry it took me so long to be able to get my mail!   Embarrassed  Hope you are having a wonderful day with good friends and/or family!  Now I will post pictures as soon as I get my camera found.... sigh.

To all my lovely partners, in case you missed my post in the main thread, thing one and thing two have hidden my keys (apparently in a dimensional portal).  My husband long ago lost his mail box key, and so until I can unearth the keys from the disaster zone that is my house, my inchies are inches away from me in a locked box.   Sad  I can't wait to see them, and if I don't find my keys in the next day or so, I will take a drill down in the night and break in.  Wink  Or follow the wise advice I received earlier and stalk the mailman...if I can catch him between running DD1 to school and back.

Seriously, ladies... these houses are stunning!

I have a terrible confession to make to my swap partners.  My keys have been missing for a while now.  My mail box likely has several inchies just inches away from me, but the mail box key is with my delinquent key ring.   Embarrassed  As soon as my keys reappear from what ever black hole my toddlers hid them in I will have access to inchie paradise.  Thank you for my inchies!  I can't wait to drool over their glory.  (Don't worry, I'll put them under plastic before they get wet.   Cheesy  )

All my houses are sent!  In a stunning twist of irony, I took my houses to my Grandma's house to address and stamp the envelopes while I was there.  I left them there to pick up her groceries and buy her some stamps, and all the grocery stores were out.  So I spent an hour waiting in line at the post office to buy her stamps, and then I still had to get my envelopes ready and take them back to the post office.   Shocked

Nasty winter weather out today, but I braved the cold to go steal my sister's craft supplies and work on my houses.  =D  Three degrees above zero and lots of wind.  Had a blast today.

You know, I like the second theory.  May not be true but it makes my heart happy.  =)
