1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Let them eat cake...or dry their dishes with it! (PIC HEAVY!!!) on: January 27, 2010 10:28:11 AM
Thank you for all the kind comments Smiley   They Wavy stitch is actually my version of the stem stitch.  Instead of starting my stitch to the side of the previous stitch I basically come through the hole where the last stitch ended. I hope that makes sense, it did in my own mind Smiley

Thanks so much for your nice comments  Smiley

That is beautiful. Great job I dont mind small grannies but I dont have the patience and the attention span to do a large one.
I find that ironic since I picked the one large granny square because I don't have the patience to make all those little ones and sew them together Smiley

For Christmas I made slippers galore. They're so comfy and everyone I gave them to loved them! Not bad for an easy instant gratification project!

6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / not your average library on: January 25, 2010 08:37:13 PM

I grew up with a family of four with one bathroom and one major problem with that bathroom....it was my dad's favorite place to read!!!! Well, I'm not sure it was his favorite but he would stay in there and read for long periods of time while the rest of us lined up in the hallway doing the potty dance waiting for our turn. So when I came across this pattern I almost died laughing in the store. My mom promised to let him hang it in the bathroom and so I started stitching.

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / K.K. Slider on: January 25, 2010 07:46:42 PM
My cousin and I share a love of Animal Crossing. I was stumped on what to make a 13 year old boy for Christmas. So I came up with this. I am one to give credit where credit is due, I learned how to use this technique from a tutorial by OneChordWonder whose work I admire greatly.
