11  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / synthetic dread falls. questions. on: March 21, 2010 01:33:27 AM
i've been obsessed with dreads for years now but im to whimsical and lazy to actual dread my own hair. so i was thinking about making or buying some dread falls. i really dont wanna spend $100 for a piece when the materials are so cheap, but i dont think im talented enough to actual make the product im looking for. especially not my first time. so.. have you found it easier to make your own or purchase? if you make them do you have any tips. and if you buy, who do you buy from? im really just looking for some change. so if you have any other hair tips or ideas please tell. i have brown wavy hair down to my mid to lower back. im not willing to cut or dye it. (dyeing is just to much of a hassle and its taken me yrs to grow it back out) ive tried glass beads but i have an 8 month old and im scared if they come out and i dont notice she could find them. is there any other type of "hair jewelry" out there?

here are some pics of what ive been looking at..

12  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / getting yarn online?! on: March 16, 2010 12:04:04 AM
well more like ebay. long story short, for christmas my father in law got my husband and i a gift card for ebay.. we've never used ebay and my hubby told me to go ahead a use it on whatever. so i was thinking about getting some yarn since i wont have access to any yarn for another few months and my stash is completely gone. heres a link to one of the biddings.

17  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Tutu Help on: December 29, 2009 05:11:07 PM
i've been obsessed with making a tutu for months now. but had no reason to make one. my daughters 5 months old and to get fabric is like jumping through hoops. well, my friends daughter is turning 3, she loves dress up and i wanted to make her a tutu. i want to know what kind of embellishments i can use. i was thinking about wrapping the waist in ribbon and putting a bow or flowers on the back. but i have no idea what kind of ribbon or flowers to use. i absolutely loved this tutu i found. http://girlpartytutus.com/item_40/Little-Miss-Sunflower-TuTu.htm
