so for a friend of mine expecting a baby boy
i made her a lion, i wanted it very baby friendly
and very much amenable to tugging...
not as liony as i wanted but i do love him

hi everyone
so I'm not that good yet but so far I'm having a great time
I've been making quilts for friends expecting babies
this is the third one I've made so far,
not very baby coloured but the mom loves it
and i loved playing with the different textures





what does everyone think? what can i fix, all c&c welcome
I'm also in the middle of changing computers eventually I'll find the other two i made and post them too...

hi everyone
a friend is giving me my first spinning wheel today
and i dont know where to go from there, while i am super excited
i dont even know where to start! what do i need, what kind of fleece should i get?
i have some roving that i use for needle felting projects, could i try with that?
or should i actually go out and get something specific???
help, and yay!!!

since i was a little girl my mom and i would sometimes sit together and play, pens markers what ever colours we could and often scraps of paper would work their way into our projects
this is one we did last summer
started with two sheets of paper and one line drawn through both of them
we then each took one and went to town
this is the end result

my man was working as a videogame tester at one point and through his coworkers we got into My Little pony Friendship is magic
so because he liked his coworkers so much and i like him  Wink
i made a bunch of charms that could be hung from phones or their passkeys

i love art dolls and have for awhile
i wanted to try my hand at making a small one






she is made out of Polymer Clay, jump rings and embroidery floss for the hair
i painted her face with acrylic paints(which i seem to have misplaced the picture of...)
as of yet she remains undressed as i cant figure out how i want to dress her
any ideas would be awesome! thank you

so i dont remember which sock monkey swap this was for except that my partner liked cows and superheroes
seeing as at home my man is a huge batman fan i knew it had to be batman
i only got the one picture tho  Undecided
his outfit is completely removable too

so having just finished the last poppet swap
i figured i should finally put up what i made for the previous one
my partner listed alice in wonderland as one of her themes and that was what i went with, being my first poppet i felt there was a lot i could have done better but there is still alot about her that i love

once my partner receives i will remember to share this one too
