Hey guys! I need a little help with a gift idea.  A friend of mine will be leaving in December to work with the Peace Corps in Thailand.  So far, she's asked for hand sanitizer and a list of other expensive items from Amazon.  Being the mother of a small child, money is tight and I can't really afford the expensive things from Amazon.  SOOOO I need some help brainstorming alternate gift ideas. This is the jellyfish I crocheted for my daughter's first birthday!

This is the first full-size afghan I've crocheted.  I've crochet baby afghans before but never something of this size.  I wanted to make a tye-dyed looking blanket with the chevron pattern.  I've been working on this blanket on and off since 2008 and I'm finally finished.  Tell me what you think!
