Hello! My 21st birthday party is on March 22nd and my theme is a sophisticated, yet playful Hello Kitty theme (haven't really come up with a name for it yet, maybe you can help me with that). The colors are yellow, purple and pink and the image of Hello Kitty that I decided to use for the entire theme is a collaborated design of Hello Kitty and Momoberry, which depicts her in a small black dress, looking like a young woman instead of her usually kiddy cute self.

I'm not going to be serving alcohol at my party since I don't care much for alcohol, plus some of my friends are under 21, so I'll be serving "mocktails". My invitation below depicts the theme and mood that I'm going for:

So, as you can see, I love Hello Kitty and though I'm going to be an adult soon I still want people to know that I am maturing, but I'm still a kid at heart. 

As for the decorations, I'm using mostly balloons since it's really cheap. I've got lots of ideas about entertainment and food down, but what I really need help with are the favors. My problem is that I'm going to have some male party guests, of course, and I don't want to send them home with Hello Kitty items that they won't be interested in. I'm expecting 20+ people, so I really need and idea for favors that are cheap and can be enjoyable for both guys and gals.

Any suggestions as to what the name of the theme should be and favor ideas? Thanks in advance!

800 3mm acrylic rhinestones later and the husband will never take my phone by mistake again.  It has been named "The Glitz Phone" by the girlfriends.  I just can't see why.... 

I saw this argyle style on rockinrhinestones.c om also and decided that I wanted to do it myself. I took into consideration that it takes 9 rhinestones to make one diamond and the rest of the clear ones are just one each, but just one thing still confuses me. Did you have to start from a certain place? Like in the center or something? Or did you just lay something down and work around it to make the argyle design? I don't want to make any permanent mistakes on my phone until I understand completely.
