1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Scarves and Hats and (lots of) Pictures, oh my!!! on: September 24, 2007 08:12:58 AM
Last year my synagouge (i so spelled that wrong) had a Chanukah Boutique and I sold a bunch of my scarves and hats. I took pictures and of course its taken me a year to post everything;D
my little sister's modeling

I didn't get pictures of everything but this was most of it. I sold everything except the light pink scarf and the red hat (both of which I kept for myself Grin)
2  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Land Ho! on: May 15, 2007 04:07:34 PM
It's finished! The jolly roger is officially done... well like 2 weeks ago, but I never got a chance to post it.

I also made a hood after taking the pics which looks so cute but needs to be made a little bigger.
I've gotten mucho compliments on it. It's sooo warm. a little unfortunate cause it's gorgeous outside, but I'm going upstate(Ny that is) this weekend! I did mess up on the neck part a little. I made it too wide (accidently used small instructions instead of medium) so that's a little annoying, but I really love it! Thanks to all the craftsters who I borrowed/stole ideas from. I'll hopefully post pics of the hood soon!

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Pillow and iPod cozy for sis on: January 23, 2007 05:47:53 PM
I made these for my sister. The pillow was a chanukah present and the iPod cozy was for her birthday

It's supposed to be froggish because she named her iPod "Kermit"

monogrammed!

other side! This is the hebrew letter nun (pronounced noon) which makes the same sound as an N.

She loved them both! yay!
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Eyeball Pillow on: January 16, 2007 02:49:59 PM
Made this for my friend as a chanukah present. She has an odd obsession with eyeballs. She loved it, so yay!

The veins were so fun to do

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Ribbon tote bag on: January 13, 2007 04:03:32 PM
I made this during the summer after randomly buying many rolls of balloon ribbon from the dollar store. I actually used it for like a month during camp. I like working with ribbon cause it doesn't stretch out even its hard to crochet with.

I promise it isn't wonky but the pic is weird. The handles were crocheted seperately and sewed on
8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Jess the Kitty on: January 04, 2007 05:39:56 PM
Inspired and pattern fromhttp://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=143412.0

Jess the kitty. Named after my little sister's friend, because the kitty's eyes are slightly scary and the real Jessica scares me... (angry little child Roll Eyes)
It was hard working with thin yarn and a small hook and teeny tiny limbs (and yes one leg is shorter than the other) but I love how it came out. It was begining to look like a monkey so I modified the ears to be pointy. and I couldn't find black beads for the eyes so thus the freaky silver eyes.
9  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Brr, it's cold it here! (capelet) on: October 12, 2006 10:55:15 AM
I made the cold shoulders capelet and I love how it came out. This was also my first time doing pompoms and I am in love with making them now.

Here it is on me

lol it looks a little odd with the AC/DC shirt, but I wanted to take pics right away

front, on the hanger

back, on the hanger

this pic shows the color best

I love this book!
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / help with gold circle vest! on: October 06, 2006 12:57:07 PM
I'm working on the gold circle vest from So Simple Crochet. I have like 7 rows left and I just tried in on and the sleeve holes are HUGE. Like really crazy big. Has anyone made this before and can tell me if this is normal or if I completely messed up?
