I love the orange and purple L&Ls! Gorgeous colors. WIPs,  have fun on your trip! I wish I was traveling to Europe Tongue lol

(yes, I am still stalking this thread even though I finished Grin)

no! don't frog it! I don't think it looks like that. I think my mother said that because she doesn't want me wearing it (I don't generally wear things that show off the girls) Also because mine was white it looks more like a bra.

that's amazing! So well done! I have a question. Everytime I see something made with pop tabs its put together with jump rings but I think you used string here. Does it work just as well because I'd make something pop tab-like if I could use string.

I'm soooooo excited! I only have one strap left and I already put on the buttons! I've been working on it the whole day.

notsohipmama- I decided to make it fitted b/c I was afraid of it making me look preggie(me and empire waists don't agree) also because of my (well justified) fear of running out of yarn. I'm thinking about making another one that's flowy though.
I'm not so confident with the blue now, but I'll wait till its done till I pass judgement

ok lots  of pics. I finished the bodice (I'm not sure if its long enough though) and I'm working on the straps

Front - the blue in this pic is off a bit

back - the color is a little bit truer here. Half a strap done! you can see where I put two rows of blue and then decided I didn't have the patience or the yarn to do 4 inches of it so I just started the strap. I like how it looks now

and a pic of the stitch because I love how crochet shells look

almost done!!!!

Wow, great progress!

Mine looks slightly different from yours. You know that spot in between the bra cups? I don't have that...

that little part between the boobs is actually added at the end of the pattern but since I knew I was running out of yarn and I didn't want that part to be a dif. color I added it in now. I reall ylove this pattern! It's going so fast. possibly because I've been ignoring other responsibilities (aka math B regents Tongue)

so I've finished like 13 rows of the bodice. I decided not to do any increases (except one on each side). In my stupidity I decided that since I wasn't increasing I wouldn't need alot of yarn and therefore went in to this with less then 8oz. of yarn. my friend went to michael's today and couldn't find the color I needed so I decided to continue in a dif. color. I'm thinking berry blue. suggestions?

since this is just a test run I'm using red heart (which I hear gets softer in the wash) unfortunately I don't know if I have enough to do the whole thing in white so I may add in another color later
