I recently bought a sewing machine and this purse was the first thing I made

My dad went to school at Univeristy of Virginia, so when I found UVA fabric I had to have it. Hopefully this will fit his macbook.

So I bought myself a sewing machine recently, and I am making christmas presents. This one is for my mom. I used a McCalls pattern.


When I thought I was finished I decided I didn't like how the exposed seams on the inside looked, so I bound them.

I've read alot here about oiling machines, so when i bought my sewing machine a few weeks ago I made sure to go through the manual thoroughly looking for how to oil it, only to find it doesn't need oil. At least I know this now.

I definitely agree on the eggs. I read an article a few months ago that said there is something in eggs that actually helps to alleviate a hangover.
