ok, so i bought this little patons book that has patterns for socks and slippers in it....and on page 31 there are these reaaaaallyyy cute thigh high socks. so, i bought all the supplies i needed to make these socks....but then when i got home, i realized i couldn't read patterns or knit using multiple double pointed needles!!! i have NEVER knitted a sock before! i don't understand what to do. i've looked through all the tutorials and books....but i still don't understand. what should i do? has anyone else ever made these socks before? i really wana be able to wear these!!

I'm looking for a good hime gyaru or sweet lolita nightgown tutorial. i don't want anything too over the top, but still victorian and sweet looking. thank you!

Does anyone have a fingerless glove pattern like the one Sweeney wears in the movie Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street? I believe they're knitted in seed stitch. Thanks in advance!
