i really enjoyed making this lil toddler outfit for my niece.  it was just challenging enough to make it interesting.  but easy enough for me to finish it in two evenings from start to finish.

check out the results

made this for my niece, she is only 2 yrs old.  basically followed the pattern wit ha few tweeks here and there.  added the bows for extra cuteness factor.  chack it out.  its my first sewing project the was a little more complicated. =)

9  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re:help with the kittyville devil hat... on: March 03, 2004 07:36:14 PM
i did mine with the seed stich and let me tell you it was tricky at first ... i restarted three times cuz if u are off by just one stich then u end up making a k1 p1 ribbing and thats no good

i put a stitch marker every 12th stitch so that i could keep track of where i was ... and i also wrote down if i was on a round that started with a K or a P cuz you have to switch every round

i also did the whole thing with dpn instead of starting with circs cuz well i couldnt find the right leangth ones here where i live ciz it s a small town and we are very limited in our crafting stores hehe lucky me

anywayz hope that helps ... i love this hat ... it is so great iwore it today out for the first time and so many people commetned on it ... and i got some funny looks too .... maybe it was the hat or the combo of the hat and my boy with all the piercings in his face ... we were so evile looking today hehe Cool
