1  U.K. AND IRELAND / IRELAND / Crafty markets in Dublin! on: June 16, 2009 06:10:38 PM
Hi everyone,
I love going to markets so I'm always on the look-out for new ones happening in town. Here's 2 I've discovered recently:

1. thecraftymarket.com, in Dublin Food Co-Op Building, 12 newmarket square, Dublin 8. Market on first Sunday of month. See website for more info.

2.dublinflea.blogspot.com, Market on last Sunday of every month, also in Newmarket, Dublin 8. Again, see website for more info.

I'll keep adding to this if I find others...please feel free to do the same!

Sarah xx
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / craft swopping penpals- anyone interested? on: June 04, 2009 05:38:07 PM
Hi everyone,
I found a post like this on this board by searching in the tag cloud for "penpals", but the last posting to that was 2years ago, so...... Anyways, my idea is this: If your the type of person who likes to receive letters in the post and write letters to someone with similar interests to you, maybe this is for you. I also thought it would be cool if penpals would be interested in posting small, light items...for example, I love making notebooks and adding bits and bobs to them that I find interesting. I (obviously) no trouble getting maps of Dublin, dart/luas/bus tickets, irish used stamps, books written in irish (if I bothered looking for them!) because I live in Dublin. But I'd love to have a penpal in say, Austraila/America/ New Zealand/ India so that they could post me similar things that they can easily come across.
Do you see what I mean? If there's anything I haven't explained very well your more than welcome to ask questions here. Or, if you'd like to have a penpal from Dublin, Ireland maybe we could be penpals!
Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
Please let me know what you think of this idea! xx

4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Vey simple sugar body and face scrub on: March 26, 2009 11:05:32 AM
Hi everyone, I've just joined craftster and I was dying to put up a post of my own. I remembered this one I originally saw on  youtube but its so simple and effective (especially at this time of year with the summer coming round and the body being bared again after months under wraps Smiley So, anyhow here you go:

1. Put 1-2 tbsp of granulated sugar in a small bowl.

2. Squeeze the juice of one lime on top while stirring into the sugar. You want a thick-ish pasty consistency that is easy to smooth onto your skin.

And there you go! Start smoothing! (if your in a hurry, substitute your hand for the bowl in the bathroom, but I'd definitely go with the bowl if its a body scrub your after. It can get a bit messy otherwise!)
Happy scrubbing:)
P.S I've yet to invest in that wonderful piece of technology known as a digital camera but hopefully I'll be able to afford one soon....xx
