1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Glow Stick of Destiny on: July 31, 2013 02:27:16 PM
Like many, many people, I have seen the Avengers several times. Several.

Remember that little monologue that Tony gives to Loki at the top of Stark Tower? Where Tony is listing all of the Avengers and there's the whole spine-tingling "you can be damn sure we'll avenge it" bit?  Well, on about my third time through the movie, I heard Tony Stark call Loki's staff the glow stick of destiny.

GLOW STICK OF DESTINY.

How had I missed that before?! I rewound, rewatched, and then rewound it again. Checked with others to make sure they heard it, and then just laughed. By far one of the best quips I've heard.

So of course I had to make something. And here it is...

Thanks so much for looking!  Kiss

I have recently been converted to a Doctor Who Geek. With a huge capital G. This kind of speaks for itself, so onto the pictures!  Cheesy

This is my first Doctor Who themed pattern, but I have so many more running circles in my head! A few are already charted out, just waiting to be stitched. I hope you like it!  Smiley

I would love any comments, questions, or criticism! Btw, how many strands of thread do you (personally) usually use to cross stitch? Anywho, thank you for looking!  Kiss
