Ok, I need to get back on this. I know I've posted this picture before, but I keep forgetting to take a new one. So just multiply this square by 4, and you'll know my progress.  Cheesy

Now to get back and actually work on it...

I hope you don't mind that I'm just jumping in here.  Smiley I've been working on an quilt-type afghan made from granny squares, and here's what's done so far:

This is one main square, and there will be 6 in the finished afghan, so far so good!

I have recently been converted to a Doctor Who Geek. With a huge capital G. This kind of speaks for itself, so onto the pictures!  Cheesy

This is my first Doctor Who themed pattern, but I have so many more running circles in my head! A few are already charted out, just waiting to be stitched. I hope you like it!  Smiley

I would love any comments, questions, or criticism! Btw, how many strands of thread do you (personally) usually use to cross stitch? Anywho, thank you for looking!  Kiss

I got the bracelets from my swap angel! I was not expecting a whole package, I love it. I really like the wave bracelet, it's the same pattern I used for my partners!  Cheesy

I wish you could see the colors better, they're varigated, so beautiful.
Thank you so much, stargardener!  Smiley

19  Re: Learn to spin in 2010 in Spinning: Completed Projects by horsygirl321 on: March 01, 2010 05:42:50 PM
Grin ok, I couldn't wait! I started spinning, and I'm rather proud of my self. Sure, it's lumpy, bumpy, and isn't soft at all, but still.  Wink here's what I did =

all =

close-up of both the mini-skeins =

even closer, just so you can see that there is both lace and bulky weight yarn in one skein.  Tongue =

Is there any advice on how to get it softer?? and less hairy?? I can tell I'm going to be addicted!  Cheesy
