I love that - it's so simple and elegant!
22  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Chevron Socks on: November 23, 2008 10:24:47 AM
Thanks! It really is great yarn, and I almost didn't buy it. I was at Webs with friends and only saw it on the way out. We were off to see the Yarn Harlot speak and to have lunch and I couldn't stop thinking about the entire time. My friends pressured me to go back and buy it. I'm glad I did Smiley
23  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Fun mobius cowl on: November 22, 2008 04:37:43 PM
I just read the subject as "mobius COW" but this makes much more sense Smiley

It's really beautiful - I love those colors and it looks so luxurious!
24  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Chevron Socks on: November 22, 2008 04:31:16 PM

I made these from the Chevron pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch. The yarn is Artyarns Supermerino. It was a cuff-down construction with a forethought heel (which I didn't like). There are more pictures and details on my blog.

I just got an idea for some buttons I want to make for some friends, and don't want to invest in a button-maker for one project. This is such a great alternative! Where did you find the little pieces of wood? Or did you cut them yourself?

28  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: A-Line Jacket, Tilted Duster and October socks on: November 02, 2008 04:29:55 PM
Those are all great! I haven't seen that A-line jacket from Runway Knits before - it's really nice. What is the yarn? Your Tilted Duster came out quite well too.
29  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Lace Ribbon Scarf from Knitty on: November 02, 2008 04:26:27 PM
It's Noro sock yarn. Pretty, isn't it?
