1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My Daughter's First Project on: November 19, 2008 11:23:44 AM
Made out of mismatched socks....my daughter's first sewing project with some help from me and my best friend. Hand sewn, and design completely by my daughter.

......Yeah..... I'm a little proud. lol

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Another Scarf??? on: November 06, 2008 05:42:03 PM
My first scarf, and the first thing I've crocheted other than a simple granny square. I didn't use any directions....I just sort of winged it.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Green Corduroy Skirt on: November 05, 2008 07:21:25 PM
This is my second piece of clothing I've made. I have one exactly like it...except mine is much bigger. When I finished it there was enough material left over to make one for my daughter.
I'm sorry these pictures aren't the best, I had to use my phone camera.

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / My Pillow!! on: October 15, 2008 06:48:43 PM
This is supposed to looked like a quilted pillow. My first one....it is not as "quilty" as I'd like. And it isn't lined up as well as it should be.

But I still like it.

5  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Reasurrance Needed...... on: October 11, 2008 08:09:26 AM
This is my very first quilt ever. I've always wanted to make one, and just recently had the money to buy a sewing machine and materials. My cousin's baby is almost a year old, and for Christmas I wanted to make him something special.

It's not crib size. It is more for decoration on the wall.

I put the squares together with pins. Before I do the actual sewing them together I was wondering if I was on the right track.
