These are really cute and i would like to make one, but I think I am being really dense and missing something on the tutorial.  It says to sew designs on the inside pages (and from the pictures it looks like there is sewing right in the middle, not just the edges).  How do I do this without sewing the bag shut?  I know I am clearly missing something.  Please enlighten me!

hey no problem! this confused me as i was trying to figure these guys out.

in step one you cut along the bottom edge of each bag. that way you can unfold it and sew on the designs. then you can see each bag has a seam along the bottom where you close up the side after sewing on your fun papers and what not.

let me know if that makes sense!

they are beer caps-the twist ones-will those work or do you have to have a special type?

i think they would work, you might just want to flail out the edges a little bit so they wont be so scratchy on your skin.

i added the tutorial! what a crazy day, between 2 kids going to the dr and one kid having a VBS end of the week program then picnic i cant believe i got it done now come on girls! lets see what you come up with 

where did u get the front cover material?

they are all scrapbook papers...one of them i got the papers at target, the other i got the papers at a local scrapbook store. they have really pretty papers now to work with!

i didnt forget! i am so sorry i have been absent to this for so long. life has been kind of crazy lately. anyway. i started taking pics and working on the tutorial today and should finish it tonight when the kids are sleeping!!
