You are soooooooooo good!

Sorry I have not posted any pictures of my finished product yet, but trust me when I say they look great! I was so impressed with what I did (and I didn't even think I could do it). I had a person from worktell me that she would pay me to make her one for her daughter. WEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Oh, also, I am not sure if i ended up telling you that the size was perfect! The smaller size fits her. The larger size looks more like a dress (but it is cute on her too)!

My oldest daughter is not really happy with me at this point, because I have not made her one. I told her the pattern was too small for her and she told me to make it bigger. I tried to explain I do not know ho to do that, but it was useless to argue with an 8 years old.

I just found out I am pregnant again. and thought these little smocks would be great for a maternity shirt, but again I do not know how to increase the size of the pattern properly. Do you think this would be something hard for me to attempt? How would I start? If you you wouldn't mind assisting me with your expertise.  Wink

Hope your trip home went well (from the holidays).

Were these pictures taken in Michigan City Indiana? The location looks so familiar to me.
7  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: I think theres something wrong with the tension... but I'm not sure what. on: January 07, 2009 01:43:42 PM
Are the loopies on the bottom stich or the top? If it is the bottom you may want to try and tighted your bobin. There should be a little screw on it. Just tighten that. I totally just started sewing and by no means am I a professional, but my mother-in-law is an out of this worl quilter. She is the one who helped me set up my machine. She told me that your top threads tension should be on about 2. Let me know if this helps you.

I so wish I would have ahd something like this for my baby's car seat. She is just now transitioning into a bigger seat. I couldn't really find any covers that I like in the store either. This would have totally solved many problems. LOL!  Grin
9  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Questions About Hairstyles! on: December 15, 2008 01:19:28 PM
Hi there! So have you ever tried to straighten the areas that stick out with a ceramic straightening iron? I use some Sleek Looks by Redken (I think that is who it is by). I spray each section of hair and then iron it. It works great and stay VERY straight all day. Or if you wanna wear it kinda funky lookin I would Blow dry it with yer head upside down. We are going for a messy look here. So for product I would use Frenzy by Short Sexy Hair. It's kinda like a wax typr substance.

What type of hair do you have? Oily/Dry. If it is oily do not use the Frenzy. You will not like it!

My Mom is a hair dresser. Let me know what you try and if it worked. If not I can consult her (my Mom).
