I started my project by purchasing the following items: 1 White pumpkin, black feathers, pink daisys, sticks, stems of wheat (or whatever they were), a can of black spray pain, one can of silver spray paint, and some black fabric paint. (oh, and some printed paper I got for free)
First, I cut open the pumkin's top in a pumpkin shape, then spray painted it and the flowers black and silver, as well as the other items (sticks and wheat). The paint dried rather quickly while the items sat outside.
Second, I painted a Hena design on to the pumpkin with black fabric paint. The design takes up the majority of the pumpkin and tappers off in the back.
Next, I hot glued a foam piece from an old flower arrangment in the bottom of the pumpkin and arranged the items (flowers, sticks, wheat, feathers, some pok-a-dot paper that had been crumbled repeatedly, and some silver ribbon). I also used the pumpkin shaped top as part of the decoration.
I just love it! What do you guys think?
