29  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / touring car embroidered on t shirt on: June 09, 2010 04:57:13 AM
here in the uk we have a car racing series called the BTCC (british touring car championship) I'm a huge fan have been for many years my fav driver is Jason Plato but i cant afford at the minute one of the official chevy t shirts so i made my own just a cheap t shirt which i embroidered the car onto am really pleased with it i have a few more rounds that i am able to get to and on the raceday they do a pitwalk about where you can meet drivers get pics autographs etc so i'm planning on getting him to sign it anyway enough chat onto the pics (apologies for how bad i look in the one with it on) i included the pic of the car to show where it came from

30  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Edward the vampire sock monkey on: May 26, 2010 08:25:20 AM
made this is for my partner in the eclipse swap she has recieved so wanted to post as he is my most favourite thing I have ever made and was super hard to give up.
He is inspired by the part in twilight film where Edward says "you better hold on tight spider monkey" and his outfit of trousers and cape is inspired by the bit in twilight film where Edward is in Dracula style clothing actually biting Bella (his clothing is sewn on into place) the clothes are made from felt the actual monkey made from child size white socks
