1  Super Troopers in Halloween Costumes by mkvictor19 on: November 08, 2011 01:31:34 PM

Super Troopers is one of our favorite movies.  My boyfriend and I went as St Anky's deliverymen & its pretty obvious what my friend Steve went as. lol. The bear was a little rough to make, but we made it happen.  Everyone was cracking up, and I definitely loved how I didn't have to dress up for my costume.  Very little makeup & my hair up in a ponytail was a great break from normal costumes and we were a hit at the party we went to!

2  Little late - but Steelers 2011 Superbowl Shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by mkvictor19 on: March 27, 2011 10:26:20 PM
First off, my heart broke when I saw that the packers were going to the superbowl, and I was even more bummed when they won, but that's the bears fan inside of me.  But anyways, I love football & I made a shirt to cheer on the steelers. After a few hours of killing off a small amount of my brain cells from the glue stank, I was super proud of it.  All my friends loved it too!

3  21st Birthday Sash! - slightly picture obese in Completed Projects by mkvictor19 on: March 21, 2010 11:02:56 AM
So my best friend's 21st birthday is today & I wanted to do something super special for her birthday.  I came up with the idea of making her a birthday sash, but I came up with it too late so I had to make one.  This ended up turning out MUCH better than I thought it would! To make the back less plain, we kept track of her drinks/shots. I bought fabric at joanns, and got the glitter paint & studs at walmart.  I made the ribbon from some I had around my apartment.  Hope you enjoy the pictures!

4  Pink and Green Scarf in Knitting: Completed Projects by mkvictor19 on: January 10, 2010 01:48:01 PM
So, I'm really bad with getting gifts to people on time, but I eventually was able to get this to a friend.  She suprised me with a Hanukkah gift, so I made her this scarf for Christmas.  I used Lion's Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick pink yarn and I used the same yarn, but green for the border.  I also used a random button I found at Joanns to just add that little extra that I thought the scarf needed.

5  jewlery tote! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by mkvictor19 on: July 03, 2009 02:21:36 PM
First post, yay! Grin

I've run into the problem of always wanting to take my jewelry with me but necklaces tangling with bracelets that tangle with whatever else I pack, so I made a little tote! I made this a while ago, and It works really well.  I got the pattern from Sew and Stow, and it was pretty fun to make. Its got a big pocket, a zipper pocket, and then a bunch of little slots to put earrings and such into.

Ignore how I look in the pictures, I just got my (now ex)boyfriend to hold it while I took the pictures to quickly send to a friend.
