1  My Halloween Cupcake Creations!!! in Halloween Decor and Parties by gwenidolizer on: November 10, 2008 01:31:21 PM
My boyfriend's sister had a bday party that was Halloween themed and I was super excited to make cupcakes! So I looked all around for ideas and finally settled on a few. I was gonna go online and get pics from the websites of the magazines I got the ideas from but I forget which magazines they were from. I'll scan the pics in later.

I made them from Pillsbury's Halloween Funfetti Mix and used the matching frosting for most of them, but ran out and then just used white vanilla. There was a variety of different kinds because I really wanted to stretch my creativity (and I'm really ADD so I get bored easily lol). I had Reese's bats, Peanut M&M ghosts, Spiderwebs, a Pumpkin, Peeps bunny pumpkin ones, Candy Corn A's for Anna (the sister's name), funky swirly one's with plain M&M's, & a few plain ones.

They were delicious! I hope you like them!!!

2  Poison Ivy and Batman!!! in Halloween Costumes by gwenidolizer on: November 10, 2008 01:07:10 PM
Hey everyone! This is my first post so be kind. I wanted to be Poison Ivy for Halloween and my boyfriend wanted to be Batman to match me. He went around saying "I'm Batman!" all night lol. I bought his costume because I knew I couldn't make it good enough. I had this old green dress for awhile that I bought from a thrift store that was perfect for the costume. It had this embroidered floral pattern on it. I bought the fishnet sleeves and green tights. Then I went to Michael's and bought ivy garlands and pinned them on and wrapped them around my body and my boots. The makeup was the most fun part. I work for Mary Kay, so I LOVE makeup! I got the idea from this website and then changed it to my liking. http://diyfashion.about.com/od/facepainting/ss/Poison_Ivy.htm I was going more for the Poison Ivy from the comic books and not the movie so I got rid of the orange and used real makeup instead of face paint.

Here we are:
