Hi everyone.  Here goes, after much lurking my first project post.  Yippee.

I am currently home from work after an abdominal hysterectomy...(15 staples!)  Not allowed to do any housework (woe is me. )  I have been home for a week and am getting quite stir crazy.  so I decided to have a go at a sock creature.  I massacred the tutorial from here.http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=1104 Which despite my funny looking girl is extremely easy to follow.  Didn't have enough fabric left for the ears so I gave her dreadlocks instead.  I think I will give her to my friend's sister who is having her first baby just before Christmas.
