The journals pages are for a journal for my daughter.  It is meant to be a book to give her inspiration and confidence as she traverses life. No adult themes please.

I think these first two pages are just great and really show that no one who is writing/crafting/creating has anything to worry about.  They are different from each other yet they are both fabulous.  There is no "wrong" way to do things.

Thinking very hard about whether I should join this one.

I love labyrinths and I have quite a few on my wists, but I have never seen a stitched one.  I love this!  I have rocked and wisted and favourited.  Top job.

OMG Diane B.  You certainly have a wealth of information you are willing to share.  Thank you so much.  I have book marked your page so that before I try anything else in polymer clay I will do some more thorough research.  That information is endless.

Hi all
I made this house elf for superhooker in the IYP swap and thought he deserved a post of his own.

He is made from a wire armature which I covered in aluminium foil and then polymer clay.  His eyes are plastic dolls eyes, which I inserted before I baked him.  I am no polymer clay expert, and baking those eyes was not a great idea because they "boiled", well they bubbled inside and got a slightly milky appearance.
the poly clay was a pinky flesh colour, so he has been painted and inked as well.
Hopefully since he arrived at superhooker's he has been given a sock or some other item of clothing, or I might have to report her to Hermoine and S.P.E.W
Unfortunately due to computers being evil agents of satan this is the only pic I have of him.

zzdia...I don't think anyone signed up to judge anyone elses style in a negative way.  It is just a beautiful way to share our work.  The fun of it will be seeing all the unique styles and approaches.

.... but can`t find my pencil crayons but in my search I found my markers and the ipod I lost a year ago. Yay me!!

Yes, I had to have a big clean out. Didn't find an ipod tho'.  Disappointing.

Woo hoo!  creative juices flowing.  3 completed, waiting for me to get envelopes. BTW anyone who has done something like this b4 and can give packaging/sending tips?
