Christina - you and I are the perfect pair! I'm still mulling it over. I thought I had it all planned out and then another idea popped into my head. Now the dilemma is which one. I will probably start sometime this week, Saturday at the latest.
hmmm. There may be something wrong with me - I'm using an I hook and so far they've turned out just about right (or a tad too big - I had to substitute a sc round for a dc round in one square). I think. Now I'm doubting myself. And my tape measure.
I'm using the 200 block book and I found in the back where it says for worsted weight use an I-J (5-6mm) hook size (page 124). And then on the next page it said that a 5mm Inox hook made a 7.75 inch block. So I used a 5.5, an I.
I hate to admit this, but I've never blocked anything before. What's the best way to block acrylic yarn? Or do you?
ooooo, good sites. Both had different pinwheel motifs that were nice. I was looking through the 200 block book I had gotten for the granny square swap, and noticed that if I followed just the first parts of a pattern, I could have some nice shaped, small motifs.
