61  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Optimus Prime bath towel on: September 24, 2010 04:35:46 PM
This was for the 80's cartoon swap round 2.  I found a picture of Optimus Prime (80's cartoon version) online, printed it out and used it as a reference when to drew this out, then handpainted.  I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out.  Let me know what you think.

62  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Holiday decoration to nightlight on: September 24, 2010 02:17:24 AM
I got this severed foot Halloween decoration and decided to turn it into a nightlight for the Dexter swap.  An exacto knife and hot glue gun later and viola! This was taken with the lights off!

63  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Superhero Coasters on: September 24, 2010 02:06:33 AM
This is my very first attempt at embroidery and well, probably my last!  This was all freehand and not as easy as it looks.  I admire everyone that can hand embroider!
Clockwise from top left: Deadpool, superheroes rock (puffy paint), Harley Quinn, Joker, Lobo and Wolverine
64  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / A few fun shirts and a hoodie! on: September 24, 2010 01:47:36 AM
This is a shirt I made for co-workers who were named Teacher and Paraprofessional of the Year respectively.  I printed out the pictures from the computer then stenciled them with spray paint.

I made this hoodie for the 80's cartoon swap round 2.  It is the Thundercats logo.  I hand drew the logo, cut it out and then stenciled it on with spray paint, super fun and easy.

67  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Fortune cookies and soda on: January 24, 2010 04:30:27 PM
I made fortune cookies for a swap I am in on another site but wanted to show them off.

I also decided to add to the kids felt food supply with this can of our favorite soda.

What better to put that soda in but a nice pink cup?  Occupied by a tea bag at the moment though.

68  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Motorcycle Stunt Rider on: December 22, 2009 02:01:28 AM
My daddy has gone through his mid-life crisis by purchasing not one but TWO Honda Goldwings and to top it all off, he joined the drill team in his motorcycle club and is now well known throughout the United States as the one man stunt show.  He does amazing things on his bike, doing figure 8's on a set course in non-conventional positions.  Since he is the kind of person who has everything coming up with a Christmas present was rough so I made him a picture of him on a shirt.  Here is the picture I made the stencil from and then the completed shirt.

69  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / It's tea time on: September 24, 2009 12:25:53 AM
I have recently gotten sucked into the wonderful world of felt food.  I made these tea bags for a recent swap and had so much fun creating them.  Enjoy!

70  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Baseball swap on: September 13, 2009 12:47:17 AM
I know it is nearing the end of baseball season but maybe this would be a great time to make crafts for this sport?  Is anyone else interested in this?  Just curious.
