22  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez Swap on: December 26, 2012 02:23:04 PM
Anyone up for another round of the Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez swap?  With Tarantino's new movie, Django Unchained, being released yesterday and me having already seen it, my love for Quentin has been resparked so what better way to work through this love but to swap!!!

The last swap gallery can be seen here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=372912.msg4388764;topicseen#msg4388764

We can keep the swap as it was or have new guidelines.  Let me know if anyone is interested and I will organize again Smiley
23  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Mixed Media Fisherman Art on: September 08, 2012 11:44:10 PM
This was for the 4X6 art swap round 2.  I had this idea to make a fisherman in a boat with a fish dangling off the corner.  The water is tissue paper, the sky is watercolor, the boat is cork, the fisherman was found on a postcard I had, the fishing line is thread and the fish is a button.  I love the way it all turned out.

24  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Lafayette Inspired Beaded Curtain on: September 08, 2012 11:30:54 PM
In the recent True Blood swap, I made my partner a beaded curtain for her door inspired by the character, Lafayette who has one in his place.  I just went random on the beads because Lafayette is kinda a random, bright person.  I love the way it turned out!

25  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Breaking Bad Swap on: August 30, 2012 11:16:19 PM
Anyone else love this show as much as I do?  I would love to do a swap of any size for this show.  Oh the possibilities.  I would even be willing to organize if we get enough people interested.
26  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Craft with a Fat Quarter swap on: August 13, 2012 02:17:32 PM
We did this one some time ago and I would love to do another one.  Is anyone up for it?  I had so much fun with the last one!

27  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / A-Z Alphafriends for PreSchool on: July 11, 2012 09:57:40 PM
So I work as a teacher's aide for a special ed pre-school.  Every year we do something different with our alphabet and make a book to send home to the parents.  Last year I made this alphabet alphafriends set, where each animal/item creates the letter they begin with.  I had so much fun and enjoyed my creative license with these.  Hope you enjoy.
