Hah, this is great, as stated many times above.  Looks just like my teen sister.

I have a wooden hood my friend carved for me in exchange for a hat, I use it for everything that I don't use a pattern for because I'm not sure what guage it is, but I've always got it on me regardless.

I'm really not sure on the legality of it, but I've seen several one-skein scarves on etsy.

This is too cute! I was thinking of making something similar for the kids in my apartment complex when they came trick or treating.

Thanks for the replies, a freeform project sounds pretty cool, I want it to be something that two people were working on at the same time, squares and seperate peices would feel too much like working on different things.
Plus one of the people I want to work on it with is a boy who doesn't like to make flowers lol.

I got the yarn from an elderly lady who had to sell most of her stash because her eyesight went out..
