Thanks Gelia!  I am looking for some new papers to try. I'd really like to find some large sheets of scrapbook paper or some nice matte wrapping paper. I need something that's a little wider.

Sparkle,

I made my own light box based on this tutorial: http://www.studiolighting.net/homemade-light-box-for-product-photography/ .  I'm using 6 lamps instead of 4 and don't have a flash.  The key to not having a seam is easy... when you put the two sheets in there, you don't just tape them in with one on the wall and one on the ground. Instead, you tape the two together and create a smooth curve.  I don't know if that makes sense, but basically you're not creating an L with the paper to fit the box, it needs to be more of a J.

I'm going to keep checking all the fancy paper stores, like Papyrus, for a wrapping paper that would work, but I'll also ask the store where I found this one. Smiley

Thanks for your opinion, Sparkle. Smiley  I think I really like the scrapbook paper, too.  I've tried it with some different trees and so far it compliments all of them.  The only problem I have with it is that if I use too many pieces, the seams will show. The picture here uses 2 sheets.  I wish I could find this paper, but as big as a roll of wrapping paper.

I'm not good with bigger wires, just with the really fine ones that are easy to play with. I'd be scared to make a ring.

I love the autumn colors of the first one. Beautiful!

craftydeb, it wasn't hard to make. I bet if you wist it, somebody would give it a try. Smiley

Very nice!! That issue sounds like something I'd really like to get too.

omg there's a tutorial for these beautiful wire rings. I really want to make them. If you like wire, you'll like the issue.

I'm not a jewelry maker. I prefer making my lovely wire trees. I normally just make jewelry for myself and my mom.  However, I'm never one to pass up a challenge, so when a lady at the bead store I teach at showed me a necklace in a magazine and asked if I could do that, I said "I don't know, but I'll find out."  If you're interested, this necklace is inspired by the one on p. 42 of Bead and Button's 2010 Wirework magazine.  I tried to read the directions, but I'm just not good at following instructions. Tongue  I looked at all the pictures and then made it work the way I wanted.  I really like how it turned out... very elegant and organic.  Oh, and it sparkles! I'll teach this as a class this spring.

I used sea glass, glass leaves, chinese crystal bicones, tiny glass pearls, and 24 gauge wire.
