Tools - 2 pairs of pliers and wire cutters

Necklace, bracklet and earrings kit - I've made this already but haven't taken photos

Wire, findings and seed beads etc

A selection of glass beads

The sample - a necklace inspired by my wist i think, if not she did a really good job of knowing I would love it! I wear it all the time Cheesy

Everything together

A set of earrings I made with my new supplies

I've had so much fun with this already, I've also made another set of earrings and 2 wire wrapped rings. Thank you so much Janelle! and SarahJ for organising! I'd def be up for another round  Wink

2  Re: Hippy Swap Round 3 - Gallery of Hippy Happiness! in The Swap Gallery by TintedShadow on: August 22, 2009 06:11:15 AM
yea I did keep forgetting... sorry  Embarrassed it's because I had another swap that I was late sending and getting all stressy about and a few other things I've been pre-occupied with, sometimes life gets in the way a bit  Angry
Thank you for posting them. I won't post all of mine because your photos are better anyway! and I took looooooooads. I absolutely love everything sooo much! I'll just post a few...

My new decorations for my window: (2 window stickers, flower hanging and candle holder)

Absolutely beautiful candle holder:

Mini top-hat that Samsara sent as an extra: (please ignore lack of make-up in the action shot!)

I really want to post an action shot of the poncho but I must not have taken one Sad it really is awesome! I'll try and get one to show you.

Thank you for everything Samsara, it really was an awesome swap and the best package ever! I adore everything! I wear the love beads and use the bag loads, lots of people have admired the poncho and asked if I made it - which means I get to tell them all about craftster and the other wonderfull goodies you sent me! The candle holder makes me smile whenever I look at it, I took most photos of that because it just looks so beautiful in all of them Cheesy
I'm sorry I was so rubbish at posting photos Sad

3  Re: Summer is for... \../ METAL \../ - A Gallery of Hardcore Craftiness in The Swap Gallery by TintedShadow on: July 25, 2009 11:48:00 AM
I'm so sorry for the huge delay but i'm FINALLY getting round to posting pictures of the fantastic goodies I received from crazyda79!

An awesome record bowl

A re-usable shopping bag made out of a T-shirt (I know Evanescance aren't strictly metal but I put them down anyway because I love them)

A keyring that I immediately put my keys on because I love it so much! I love the picture, and it has my name on the other side!

A gorgeous mouse-mat of Within Temptation

A totally metal DVD that I will watch as soon as I have an evening to myself

Here is everything together

and the best part is that everything is usefull so it was really easy to find a home for everything Cheesy

Thank you so much crazyda!

P.S. glad your kids like the duvet cover too!

4  Re: 100 Facts Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by TintedShadow on: July 11, 2009 07:13:40 AM
I feel so bad for not posting pictures sooner... I received on tuesday but after a few issues of not being able to find the charger for the camera, then running out of memory, then not being able to find the USB lead... I finally found everything and am ready to show you the awesome goodies I received! Cheesy

Inside my amazing package I found:

An awesome purple hat! The design is butterflies and I love it! I put it on straight away  Grin

Some gorgeous dragonfly stitch markers with rainbow beads, they're soooo pretty I want to wear them as jewellery so everyone can see them!

A knitted face cloth with a dragonfly design, I'm so impressed, so far I've only learnt basic knit and pearl, I can't get the hang of knitting in pictures or patterns as well

I have been going vegetarian for lent the last few years so when I saw that littlebluegirl is a full time veggie I asked if she could slip in some recipes for me. They sound delicious! I can't wait to try them but I can't decide which one to try first!

She also included some dragonfly and butterfly buttons, some beautifull metal butterflies which I'll probably use for jewellery (I make cards which they would be perfect for but I don't think I could bear to part with them!), a dragonfly notebook, a mini butterfly notebook and some sparkly needles because sparklyness makes me happy Cheesy

Finally, I had to leave this til last because it's my favourite, a needle roll in awesome dragonfly fabric with starry fabric inside! I love it so much! Blue is my favourite colour, I love stars and dragonflies and had nowhere to keep my needles before so it's perfect! I already filled it with needles but I have more lying around with projects on that will make their way in there when I either finish the projects or admit defeat and unravel them.

Here is everything together

Thank you so much littlebluegirl, I am so pleased with everything, I jst hope you love everything I made just as much.
I had so much fun crafting this swap so thank you to Craftastrophe, TheSapphireMoon and sarahj2001 as well for being fantastic organisers Smiley I would well be up for another round!

5  Re: Alice in Craftster-Land - SEND DATE: 1/7 in The Swap Gallery by TintedShadow on: January 19, 2009 05:54:18 AM
I received from vegebrarian yesterday! She sent soooo much! It's all so awesome, thanks for everything vegebrarian!

The box was huge compared to the one i sent. Inside I found lots of sparkly pink streamer stuff and a Cheshire cat box lid staring out at me that I just had to open first.

Inside the decorated Cheshire cat box I found lots of lovely things:

a set magnets with pictures from a pop-up Alice book that I hadn't heard of until my partner asked me, aren't they cute?! i love them!

Jewellery. My favourite thing of all is the drink me necklace, i absolutely adore it Cheesy i wish you could of seen my face when i opened it! There is an E for Eleanor on the box that the earings and pin came in.

There were a few other little items in there as well but I've just shown them on the final pic.

I also received an envelope full of pictures and stationary:

And as my anticipation mounted unwrapping the several layers of bags used to protect it, I found a Drink Me vase covered in tiny red stones and glitter!

Finally...as if there wasn't enough already!... A painted rabbit with roses round it's neck

Here is everything

remembering that I was doing a small swap!

Thank you so much everyone, especially dragonmama, sixblueirises and of course vegebrarian, for making this a fantastic first swap. Everyone has crafted amazing stuff and it's great to see some of the talent you guys have. Can't wait for round 2!

6  My first completed project! A chunky blue scarf in Knitting: Completed Projects by TintedShadow on: January 15, 2009 03:25:51 PM
I finally finished a knitting project! I've started a few but only actually got round to finishing this one. I made it for my mum's birthday present in November (although I started it for her previous birthday a year earlier...) but didn't take pics untill I went home for Christmas. This is also the first project I have uploaded so I hope it works!  Cheesy

A close-up

Mum wouldn't model it for me so I had to do it

Let me know what you think Smiley
