I wouldn't have thought of putting these colors together but they really work.  Love the pattern.  It looks beautiful!

I really like this.  Was it hard to figure out how to measure for the scallops?  They turned out great.

Of course every little girl needs a quilt for her dolly.  This one is adorable and I love that you hand quilted it.

I really like the owl fabric.  The personalization is great and I love your hand quilting.

This is the perfect size for a stroller quilt and to use in the carseat.  Love it.
17  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / The one I didn't want to give away on: May 06, 2014 08:35:30 PM
I love to make quilts.  And I give a lot of them away.  But this last quilt was the toughest of all to give up.  My granddaughter, Julianne asked me to make her a quilt.  She is a girly girl so she needed a feminine quilt.  I think the fabrics give it the femininity it needed.  It is Pam Kitty by Lakehouse.  I used a simple hourglass pattern.  I hand quilted it with perle cotton and added rickrack to the binding.  I just think this quilt is so sweet, I hated to part with it.  But I think the look on Julianne's face makes it all worth it.

This is so beautiful.  I love the colors.  How ambitious to try such an intricate block for you first quilting endeavor.

So pretty and a great size to snuggle under.  And love the mismatched socks on the quilt model!
