my oldest UFO is a pair of socks that I am actually working on now!  They've been laying around for over 2 years, and I'm going to have a finished pair of socks by the end of the month!

That poppet is AWESOME!  Great work!  I need to figure out how to make some new clothes for mine.

I was getting some good progress done on a quilted baby blanket, and then I broke my last sewing machine needle.  I don't know when I'll have time to get to the store to get another set of needles, I guess I might be sewing the munchkin's St. Valentine's Day stuffie by hand!

Now . . . netflix and more sock knitting.   Wink  Naptime is good.

My name is musiclady
I am "fake" joining the Embroidery Hoopla Rd. 4
I will send 2 hoop framed embroidery pieces to my partner by 3/21/11

we'll see how my embroidery skills have improved - or not - maybe by round 5 I'll feel good enough about it to join the swap for real!

Yesterday was the knitting lesson for my friend.  I sent her home with a couple of skeins of cotton yarn and an extra pair of needles.  Although, I will probably ask for the needles back at some point . . . .  Smiley

Got one sock finished that had been laying around for over a year.  Now to cast on the second one so I can have a pair of socks, not just one!

Felt tim-tams!  You rock!

I am so making some of them for my sister.  She spend a semester studying in NZ and now we have all become addicted to tim-tams.   Wink  At least you can buy them in the US now.

I am proud of myself for picking up a UFO that's been laying around for a good 2 years or so.  Socks - for me!  Yay, after all the socks I knit for everyone else this past Christmas, I think I deserve a pair, too.

I figured out how to destash a bunch of my yarn!  I am teaching a friend to knit, and then I'll send some of it home with her!  Smiley

Maybe then it won't reproduce in my storage containers.

Can't . . . keep . . . up . . . my goodness you gals (and guys?) chat a lot!   Cheesy

I'm loving all the projects I'm seeing, as I fly through skimming the thread!  I really like that patchwork dog!  What a cute idea.  Smiley  The little one is still enamored of the green octopus you sent us a while back in a swap!

In other news, my baby blanket WILL be finished by Sunday.  It had better be finished by Sunday.  Maybe it will be finished by Sunday?

I guess I know what I'm doing during naptime today.

I haven't gotten much done recently, but I'm really enjoying all the pics of finished projects!

Maybe this week will be more productive in the crafting area.

What pretty blankets!  I have been contemplating a "stashgan" as well . . . I have so many leftover bits of worsted wool.  But first I have some jammie pants to make for DD and myself.  I bought an awesome sleeping owl fabric a year or so ago and I need to get cracking on them!
