Here's my first completed project for the year!  Milo Vest for a special little girl's first birthday.  I love this pattern, it is the 3rd I've made and I have plans for at least one more in the immediate future.



And after some birthday party-ing this afternoon, I get to cast on some socks! 

Check one project off my list!  I finished the Milo vest last night.  I will try to get a picture up today.  I have a crafty night planned with my sister on Saturday, so hopefully I'll be able to make some progress on my list then.  I've been up to my ears prepping for DD's 4th birthday party on Saturday morning.

I am hoping to do better this year than last year.  I did get over half way!  At least I want to be better with getting on here and posting pictures!  I think this year I will organize myself by months.

Got another thing checked off my list.  Stencilled T-shirt for my brother for his birthday!  He's a big gamer . . .



I wish I had time to get a jump-start on my Christmas crafting, but there are too many birthdays in August in my family!!

This sounds like fun!  I've made knitted dolls and rag dolls, I've never made a poppet.  On my list of things to learn to do this year is to make a Waldorf doll.

What a lovely idea!  I would have loved to play with this when I was a little girl.

And they took forever, but only because I guess I forgot to gauge and I got 3/4 of the way done with one sock and it was too small!!!  I'm glad I started over and made them for me, I would have been very sad to have to give them away.

That growth chart is so sweet!  I want one for my munchkin! 

Here are June's socks.  I really like the pattern, but all those zig zags took forever.  I already have my July and August sock patterns picked out, a pair of hiking socks for my Dad's birthday, and another pair for myself.

So this would be a good month to get those Christmas stockings knitted, huh?    Maybe they'll actually get done this year!

I finished my "June" socks.  On July 1.  But who's counting, they got done.  I don't think they were on my list, but they will definitely count!  I should have pics up soon.

I'd be interested in a swap or craft-along!  I made little peg gnomes and fairies for her birthday, and I'm gathering branches to cut for some of those wooden log blocks.  I think her favorite toys are her felt foods, her rag doll, and her playsilks.
