Looks great!   Grin I really like it!  You definitely added a unique part to it by adding the flower!

25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Bleaching Old Shirt to Make New Shirt on: February 27, 2009 03:06:11 PM
Earlier in the week, I saw something on TV and I wanted to replicate it, just to see if it was as easy as they said it was.  So I took an old shirt that was 100% cotton, you want to make sure it is 100% natural fibers, that I was going to give away to Goodwill and made this!
It is my first try and I could definitely do better next time, but hey I'm proud of it. Smiley

I definitely think that the back came out a whole lot better than the front.  I will also have a better tutorial on my blog than I could find on the internet; however, it might take me a few days! Smiley

27  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Pear Tea Towels on: February 09, 2009 02:50:25 PM
Hey Everyone!

This was my first embroidered anything.  I used a pattern from Sublime Stitching by Jenny Hart.  Let me know what you think! Smiley

Here are the towels together. Please ignore the earrings.  I made both of these for my sister for her birthday and I wanted a picture of them both with the earrings that I made her. Smiley

I love it!  What a creative, wonderful wedding!  Did you have table centerpieces?  If so, what did they look like?  Smiley
