1  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 41 on: December 12, 2008 05:43:10 PM
I claim goodtimegirl for circular needles and a couple of other surprises.  I just haven't decided.

This is my 1st claim, 0 sent, 0 received

My name is Krystle and I am from Louisville, KY (USA).  I am a 21 year old mom, wife, and student.  I am going to school to be a nurse.  I have a 3 year old daughter.  I work in a local hospital part-time.  So overall, I am CRAZY busy, but I love it!  I enjoy crafting so much!  I love to embroider, scrapbook, sew, etc.  I have tried to knit a million times, but I totally stink at it!

I love hot pink, purples, greens, browns and oranges.  I really love Elvis!!

Crafted Items:
- Cloth pads (with the snaps) (Probably my BIGGEST wish)
- Neat ornaments for my Christmas tree
- Altered journal
- ANYTHING for my daughter.  Clothes, dolls, blankie, puppets...anything.  She LOVES dinosaurs, monkeys, and not-so-scary monsters.
- Some art for my walls altered, fabric, or painted.
- Some kind of Obama memorabilia
- Winter Mittens!
- Notecards with cupcakes, monkeys, birdies, anything awesome really
- Reusable shopping bags in some fun colors
- A sewing machine cover
- A growth chart for my little girl
- A reusable sandwich wrap.

Craft Supplies:
- Fabric...I have a ton of flannel but hardly anything else.
- Freezer paperI cant find that stuff anywhere.  Just a few sheets would be great, but a roll would ROCK!
- Scrabble tiles (or other comparable, small, wooden tile)
- Hand Embroidering Patterns
- A Barack N- Roll stencil to make shirts for my family
- Any stuff to scrapbook withpaper, stickers, etc.
- A paper quilling kit

Extras
- Any issue of Craphound (or any other neat, clip-art zine/magazine)
- Jar of whimsies
- I would LOVE a good book to read

I love it!  My grandma adores Lucy!  She would freak if I did something like this for her.  Unfortunately for her, I do not have near the patience or attention span that you do.  Great job!

10  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Re: Tutu Help!!! on: December 02, 2008 06:56:17 AM
I would love to know this as well.  I made my daughter a tutu for Halloween and it was kind of full.  But I was definately wanting something more like in the picture that you have listed.
