1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Altoid Swap Round 6.2 Gallery on: July 12, 2007 07:38:01 PM
I received a lovely tin from photog_in_plaid today.  It has lots of green and leaves- hooray!

A square(ish) packaged in circles

the seabird says hello

the seabird's nest

and her family along with the treasures found in her nest

Thanks photog!

Tried to use all of the themes: coffee, yellow, plaid, B&W photography, and gray. (Colors included orange and green.)

Glad to supply a happy surprise!

Oh no, a broken key chain.  I will make a new one and send that off to you, photog_in_plaid.
3  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Altoid Swap Round 6.2 (Signups CLOSED; Send outs July 10th) on: July 03, 2007 06:28:17 PM
I finished my tin for photog_in_plaid, and I used the themes...

Wait!

I want it to be a surprise when photog gets it.  I had lots of ideas and I whittled the finished product down to only 200 of my original ideas. (hehehe)

What a great bird tin you crafted.  I especially like the little family.

I am happy to say that I sent my tin off as well!
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Stuffed elephant on: July 03, 2007 05:52:41 PM
Are elephants not one of the world's greatest creatures?  What could be better than a little stuffed grey elephant with nicely textured stitching and a yarn tail?  Nice project.
6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Origami Decoration - with diagrams on: June 25, 2007 05:38:10 AM
This is really so pretty.  You have a nice eye for colors.  My kusudama colors do not usually turn out as nicely.
7  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: From cute chimps to a sleepy baby elephant on: June 24, 2007 06:19:12 AM
That is a great baby elephant.  The hair is a nice touch.  Does he stand up (or is he still so young that he is learning to stand?)
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Cute Wrap Skirt on: June 23, 2007 10:02:40 PM
Thanks for the nice comments!  I will try to get a friend to model it and grab a shot - I am too camera shy.

The skirt comes about lower mid thigh.  I used the book Sew What! Skirts for inspiration.
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Yoga mat bag on: June 23, 2007 09:48:24 PM
OMG fuffiss, too funny....

There are a lot of people who make cute and funny vibe cozies, so that was not entirely out of the question when I saw it too.  Shocked

Was it made all in the round? I like the straps with the slider rings.

It was made entirely in the round.  Happy you like the straps.

Hahaha!  I did not notice the resemblance to something more personal until I read people's remarks.  Not my intention, but funny now that I see it.

Thanks for the nice (and funny) comments.
