I saw a key embellished with a polymer clay cat from www.kasa-amend.com and was inspired to create this skeleton key! I had hoped it would turn out Tim burton-esque; whilst I'm not sure I managed that I think it looks cute nonetheless! Made with white fimo and a sharpie pen.

I'm getting married on a tight budget in July and after seeing the coffee filter roses on Mommymakesroses.com decided to give it a go myself. I got a little bit obsessed with making these roses and have LOADS of them in the house now!

I've made 6 pomanders for the church...

But what I'm really stuck with is the bouquets as I wanted to keep it relatively plain so as not to distract from my fabulous dress (that my mum is making for me!) but thought I needed to break up the colour rather than having just roses. I bought some artificial hydrangeas and some leaves (all fake leaves seem to be quite plastic-y so haven't used too many I hope). So, I need your honest comments/feedback please! Does it need anything more? (I'm planning to wrap the stem with ribbon but otherwise not sure what else to add!)

I must admit I've gotten a little tired of seeing those fluffy yellow chicks from the pound shop with cadbury's mini eggs decorating every single cake at Easter time. So I made these cute little bunnies to put on top of my cupcakes instead...

I was walking past my local jewellers shop a couple of weeks ago when I spotted 10 of these pretty wooden thingies in the skip. The veneer is so pretty that I just had to take them but despite looking at them for about 3 weeks I just cannot think of anything to do with them - any thoughts???

So, I couldn't decide whether this should go on the cake forum or the polymer clay but as I didn't actually make the cake I decided on this one!!! (Managed to get a pre-iced cake on sale, then just prettied it up with some ribbon and two diamonte buttons)

My parents are FINALLY getting married but its only going to be a small event and they weren't going to have a cake because of the expense but a wedding isn't a wedding without a cake so I'm going to surprise them with this...



My mum's head is a bit dirty as her head kept falling off (luckily due to my dad's stature he didn't need a neck lol!) - any tips on how to construct a neck for next time?

After much pestering from my boyfriend, I finally got round to making a Star Wars sock monkey (he did try and persuade me to do Darth Vadar but I have no idea how you would make that out of a sock?!!!)

So here he is...Obi Wan Ker-Monkey

He is, of course, the older Obi Wan (Alec Guiness, not Ewan McGregor - apparently this is very important!!)

I've just finished decorating my spare room (finally!) and have our first guests arriving tonight. With Easter looming, I knocked up these cute little candy boquets for their room. They were sooooo easy to make and super cheap (total of about £3 for 2 of them and I still have stuff left over!)

I've had a big glass jar of buttons sat on my desk for well over a year now and I finally got round to doing something with them and made these fab necklaces. I attached them all with jewellery wire so they're really sturdy things and sit really well when worn. What do you think?

Ok, so I know this is my third sock monkey in 24 hours but I'm getting a bit obsessed and made two today (Mr T in my previous post) and Merlin the Wizard. I really love his hairy beard but had to sew his hat on as he's bald underneath lol! I'd love to know what you think?
