I am trying to crochet my first pair of socks. And now I'm stuck. The pattern says: Mark beg of rnd with a colored piece of yarn. Work even in sc until 7" from beg.
Does it mean to do enough single crochet rounds that it will be 7" long and then move on to the next set of instructions? Or, do I only do a few single crochets on that round and stop when there is 7" between where ever that is and the beginning of that same round? (does that make sense?)
I really hope someone can help me out, please.
I've never made a sock before, and these looked really nice and cozy. It's Lion Brand Wool Ease thick and quick cottage socks pattern. I hope I'm not too far in over my head here. I've been crocheting basic single and double and shell blankets for a while and want to move on to different things.
