1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Fill-A-Box Happy New Year GALLERY on: January 21, 2011 11:46:50 AM
I received a great package from spidermom. Some great yarn which I already have plans for some of it. Some amigurumi eyes, a Bead magazine(something I'm very interested in learning more about), and a book of Christmas projects. I've been wanting to try the Lion Brand Fun yarn for quite some time.

Thanks again!

Still here, too. Will send either tomorrow or Friday. I went to look through my stash yesterday and got distracted. Hoping I can finish today.

I plan to get my box together this weekend. It's been so cold this week and I need to look through some stuff in storage. Our pipes froze last night. Can't believe I forgot to leave the water dripping. It's become so routine lately.

Mine is correct, too. I have some things in mine to send. I need to start gathering and asking questions to make sure I send stuff that is needed.
5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: The Big Bang Theory Swap on: December 28, 2010 10:25:26 AM
I'd love to do this. We just discovered Big Bang in November and have been watching the seasons on DVD. I can't believe we haven't been watching this show.

I'd love to do this. My daughter is 5 and loves pandas. She has an imaginary friend who is a panda named Pandy. Wink

Love it! Just saw the boots on the homepage and knew it was Rogue. Great job on the costume. This is also my favorite look for her.

I received a great circular knitting kit from Adridne.

It includes some great yarn, circular needles, instructions, patterns including the Jayne Cobb hat - one of the main reasons I want to learn to knit in the round, stitch markers, knit row counter, and double pointed needles and covers. The DPNS have a started sock pattern on them. I can't wait to give it a try.

Thanks again!!

I hope to send tomorrow. Been derailed a little this week. My four year old's allergies are acting up. She's doing better today. Just got to finish my instructions and I'll be done.

I received an awesome roll of whimsies from nannyem! My daughter and I are having so much fun with everything.

Here it is all rolled up..

And unrolled..

The first panel of whimsies that includes three handmade flower hairpins.. I love those. She said she made to learn them from Craftster. I may need to learn too.

My favorite hairpin..

Panel 2 with beads, dum-dums that my daughter is enjoying, handmade earrings that are lovely, inchies that spell out my daughter's name, cute Starbucks stickers

All of the inchies. Too cute not the share. She mentioned using them in scrapbooking but thinking they would look cute framed on her wall.

Panel 3 with pockets..

All of the whimsies from the pockets. It's blurry but my daughter loves the small white turtle located in the back on the left.

The whimsies from the last pocket. Yarn, another lovely pair of handmade earrings, ribbons, a small fish, deer, wreath, arm, plastic rhino. Love the ribbon. reminds me of the ribbon my mom used to put in my hair when I was a kid.

Thanks nannyem! We are enjoying our roll so much. I say 'we' because my daughter is loving the ribbon, small animals, and beads. Oh and of course the Dum-Dums. Wink
