Well the chicken business is doing surprisingly well so I've been racking my brain trying to think of new additions.  This idea came from a customer who made the suggestion.  Sometimes that's all it takes.  Here are the first of what will be several "Chicken Littles"

37  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: Figuring out how much to make for a show on: January 10, 2016 07:00:10 AM
Haha. I usually go by the "as much as I can make" rule, which is rather vague. (Because I'm sure that number is dependent on all sorts of factors.). I DO find that my best sales happen when I have A LOT of stuff and it's all similar in style.  If i bring too many varied items they don't sell as well but if I have a lot of styles of one or two items that are displayed well and really fill up the space, it draws people in.  And I think "drawing people in" is the most important thing you can concentrate on when planning a show, because no matter how much or how little you have to sell, if it's not displayed in a visually appealing way, you won't get the customers.
Great advice, you've obviously spent a lot of time working that all out and it's great info.  Definitely a tricky decision when you're planning your event!
