so cute!  I just made one yesterday, probably inspired by the same post you were talking about - the original post is here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=330025.0

Your door mouse has cranberry genitalia Tongue Not sure if it's the placement or the colour of your signature, but it's really distracting. I'd say it needs to go closer to the colours in the door mouse. Otherwise your colour and tone is very strong. I kinda also want to see him holding onto the branch with his hanging foot. It looks awkward as is right now.

Its funny - but that never even occured to me (concerning the berry genitalia) -  Must be according to the vein your mind runs in.  Wink  As for how he is holding on, I would think it was meant to look a bit awkward - he is clinging to a branch, not taking a rest in a clump of grass - I think it very well conveys the idea that he might fall at any minute!

Thank you both!  Yes it is watercolor and I agree, dogs ARE the best - must be why I have three of them!  Wink

I think wood is the perfect thing to go with the "woodsy" theme.  Really pretty!

I painted this for some friends whose dog Ben (or Benners as they called him) said he was "the best dog anyone could ever have".) He lived to a ripe old age and passed away a couple of years ago. They have two new labs that they rescued, and they love them to pieces, but Ben remains special in their hearts.

Nice job!  I just made one for my son with the Threadbanger tute - It was pretty easy although my less than fantastic math skills threw me off for a minute when I had to adjust the pattern to fit his big head - haha!
