2071  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Christmas Stocking Swap 5 (SENDOUTS Nov. 20th) on: October 02, 2009 11:12:49 AM
Here I am!  Finished a big project yesterday, drew out the stocking pattern, halfway done with another project (need some Christmasy stuff to finish it up so I might try Lowes - thanks Pinokeeo!) Got a few odds and ends too so I think I'm working on schedule - (I love it when that happens!) My partner (retroeva) is due with her baby any day now - so let's see if she checks in or if she's just a little bit preoccupied!  Cheesy
2072  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Bird Mobile! on: September 30, 2009 11:34:55 AM
I got this idea (and the little bird pattern) off of Spool.  Fun and easy - at least until you get up to the balancing part - a great way to use up lots of bits and pieces from your fabric stash!  Smiley
I had a hard time getting a good shot - finally hung it in the doorway.  This one will be going to Florida to live with my sister - her month-late birthday present!

Grrrr - this is completely in the WRONG place - I'm sure someone will be kind enough to boot it into the right compartment!  Sorry about that!

She's so cute!

Make sure when you post a tutorial that it gets marked as "mature". Wink

you are too funny!

Congratulations on that sweet baby girl - nothing like a new baby! Smiley

I feel like a slow-poke!! lol I haven't started anything yet.... I have a few ideas for the stuffers but not many. I have a wicked idea for the stocking itself BUT I just have to get it outta my head and onto the stocking the way I see it!!! LOL and that's the tough part!!! hahahahahaha

I know exactly what you mean - I have a sketch on a scrap of paper and all the fabulous details in my head - just have to get that whole idea into pattern form so I can get this stocking started! Cheesy

I love color - but that black and white bathroom is fabulous!  You definitely have an eye for putting things together-everything about it is perfect.  Glad to see the bird cabinet in action - a great piece! Smiley

Thanks - they are threaded on stretch magic, so stretchy enough to adjust a bit.  Luckily she is just one size smaller than me so I could guesstimate her size, but I think they could maybe be made in small medium large and XL.
