Thank you both!  Yes it is watercolor and I agree, dogs ARE the best - must be why I have three of them!  Wink

I think wood is the perfect thing to go with the "woodsy" theme.  Really pretty!

2064  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Memorial for Ben on: December 19, 2009 05:44:11 PM
I painted this for some friends whose dog Ben (or Benners as they called him) said he was "the best dog anyone could ever have".) He lived to a ripe old age and passed away a couple of years ago. They have two new labs that they rescued, and they love them to pieces, but Ben remains special in their hearts.

Nice job!  I just made one for my son with the Threadbanger tute - It was pretty easy although my less than fantastic math skills threw me off for a minute when I had to adjust the pattern to fit his big head - haha!
2066  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Snow Leopard on: December 17, 2009 07:00:27 AM
Very cute - you did a great job!  How big is he?

That is amazing - and I  love the picture of him on the window sill!  Smiley
2068  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Little old elf ornament on: December 12, 2009 01:05:54 PM
Okay - I made this little guy for the ornament swap.  He's polymer clay and his clothes are made from a little pair of knit gloves.  Smiley
2069  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Christmas Ornament sweatshop gallery on: December 12, 2009 12:45:29 PM
Thank you! He is made of polymer clay and his suit is made from a little knit glove that I trimmed to fit him. I made his shoes out of some scraps. (His beard is wool roving.)
