2051  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Gourd Snowmen ornaments and tree topper on: December 19, 2010 12:27:21 PM
I would agree!  They are very well done and that counts big time when you are pricing!  I know it depends on the people who will be buying, but $5-$15 sounds completely reasonable to me! Good luck to your daughter in her fund raising efforts! Smiley

So cute!  (Do you notice how the word "cute" can't help but come up in connection with all these tiny houses?)  Smiley  Love all the little (cute) details!

thelast of my sewn Christmas gifts - a log  with just the right touch of wood fungus.  Wink  Why you ask?  Because the person I'm sending it to has the same kind of strange brain that I do.  Thanks for looking.  Smiley

I must tell you, but really I can't; because my partner hasn't recieved it yet... Your little fairy house in a "Small" way got my creative juices going for a swap project. I made something as a _____for the stuffie I sent in the OTT stuffie swap! It was in no way resembling your house, but in every way got me going....Only in another direction.
I'm sorry to be so vague! But she should get it any day now!
 Then you'll "get it" too!
Hmmmmm....very mysterious....but I'm glad I could be of some inspiration.  Can't wait to see what you've created!  Smiley

Thanks everyone and lol Racky - I think there may be some sort of family resemblance.  Smiley
2059  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / The Cello Lady on: December 16, 2010 12:21:21 PM
Always inspired by the work of Mimi Kirchner I came up with the "Cello Lady" pillow/doll. She is a gift for my sister (who plays the cello.)  Smiley  Made entirely of remnant fabric, (upholstery fabric and wool,) and an embroidered face.  She is about a foot and a half tall.  Thanks for taking a look!

And had to include a picture of her cute little shoes.  Wink

Lots of cute houses here - and the cuteness never ends.  Check out my little castle from Larissa Rasputin.  She chose The Princess and the Pea from my list - its made of sculpy (and I think you did a great job on your walls!)  Wink
Here is the outside with the little rose trellis

This is the little bed inside with a lovely painting on the wall.

AND...under two little mattresses is the dasterdly pea!!  Love it!

Thanks LR - its great!  Cheesy
