I have always been mildly interested in working with this medium, but now I'm going to have to try it.  I love this idea so much.  Thanks

I had something similar once (a pink plastic heart on a stick that came in a floral arrangement).  I ripped the heart off the stick and used it as the centerpiece in a valentine hair bow for my daughter.  All it took was a roll of cheap ribbon, a barrette, and some hot glue.  She wore it for years.

I saw some old records make into clocks in a little shop recently.  They were really cool and were selling for something like 40 dollars each!
3764  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Back to Crafting! on: September 16, 2008 08:06:25 PM
Hi everyone.  My name is Teresa and I live in Ga.  Years ago I crafted night and day but kind of drifted away while I was raising my family.  I'm a 45 year old empty nester now and I'm ready to get back to crafting!  One of my daughter's college roomies told me about Craftster swaps and I just had to get involved.  I enjoy mosaics, paper mache, working with felt, scrapbooking, quilting, and a little bit of decorative tole painting.  I hope to get started on a few new crafts such as candle and soap making and creating shadowboxes and plaster tiles.  I'm so excited to be here!
