41  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Aurelio Star - First try on: November 07, 2008 03:00:40 AM
I made this kind of origami star yesterday. In Germany, we call this kind of star aurelio star. It's a lot of folding and glueing and took me quite a while to finish, but I like the result Smiley What do you think?

Thanks for looking!

44  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / pink summer feeling necklace on: October 04, 2008 12:20:28 PM
I made that necklace some time ago. I really like shell jewellery - it looks so good on tanned skin. When I came across the pattern for that necklace I immediately fell in love with it. The pink beads are different glass beads, the yellow ones are wooden. Hope you like it Smiley

45  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / music themed t-shirts on: October 04, 2008 12:08:32 PM
hi everyone! I'm planning to make my sister a cool t-shirt. she's really into music, so I thought about something music themed. I made some very rough outlines. The first ones were just cassettes, cds, long-playing records and earphones. I ended up with a pug wearing earphones as my sisters loves pugs. so, what do you think? does it really look like a pug? or should I stick to the other objects? thanks!

First idea Smiley

A cassette tape with earphones

Top to bottom: long-playing record, cassette tape, cd, ipod with earphones

Mops is the German word for pug Smiley

I've just realized that it doesn't look like a pug at all Sad I've made some more outlines: Lots of pugs  Smiley

46  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / gifts for friends graduating from university... on: October 02, 2008 06:12:56 AM
Some of my friends are about to graduate from university soon. Since they're all leaving then to start their teaching career I thought it would be a good idea to give them something nice to take with them. I haven't had any good idea yet (as at the moment I'm working on my final thesis that is due in a few weeks), so if you have any idea, please let me know! Thanks!

Oh I forgot: I want to give them the same gifts and I want to craft them :-)
47  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Grey Felt Pencil Case on: September 25, 2008 09:49:35 AM
I found the pattern for this pencil case at a fair. The ones they had there had plaid red fabric at the bottom. I got the polka-dotted fabric from my aunt and I think it looks even better than the original one  Smiley I'm still looking for any patch, maybe a toadstool... What do you think?

48  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Dreamcatchers on: September 24, 2008 03:51:20 PM
I don't know if this is the right place but here are the very first dreamcatchers I made for my friends. They really liked them and I hope you do, too :-)

49  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Wet felted beads on: September 24, 2008 03:46:54 PM
Here are some things I made with my kids. Beads are so easy to make but you can make so many nice things with them.
