21  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Lemmy for the hubby on: January 01, 2012 11:05:01 AM
Hubby requested a stencilled tshirt for his 30th birthday. Since he's a big fan of Lemmy Kilmister of Motrhead I made him a Lemmy tee

22  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Girls need Bags! on: September 03, 2011 10:23:06 AM
I made this Amy Butler Teardrop Bag for myself some time ago

Hubby pointed out that I already have quite a few bags but I think a girl can never have enough bags and purses!
23  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Cozy Cushions on: August 12, 2010 03:24:40 PM
I wanted to make these for ages  and finally had time. I saw similar ones in a small shop and thought they'd look nice in our living room whenever we get a new sofa Smiley The picture was taken in my parents' garden though.

I like the beige-yellow-green coloured one a bit more than the pink one. My dad wanted to keep both since my parents have got a green sofa and they looked really good on it.

Thanks for looking!
24  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / For the New Home on: August 12, 2010 03:18:03 PM
A friend of us married his Spanish girlfriend in July and is now moving to Spain. So for a wedding gift I made them a set of 4 placemats for their new home. They often stayed at our flat when they were in town so the placemats are to symbolize that they're always welcome to stay with us again.

It's Amy Butler fabric and IKEA home decor fabric. It think it looks a bit Hawaiin.

Thanks for looking!
25  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Welcome Baby Boy on: August 05, 2010 04:26:09 PM
One of our friends is having a baby soon so I finally got the chance to try my hand at baby clothing. For the little baby booties I used this tutorial http://www.michaelmillerfabrics.com/blog/cloth_shoe.pdf

For the little jacket I used a pattern that I found in my mum's older than dirt magazines. I'm glad she kept all the old patterns she used to make my sister and me clothes. Some are really really cute.

I still need to attach ribbons to tie up the jacket but it was late and I was tired. I wanted to post the picture though.

26  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Clutch Galore! on: August 05, 2010 04:06:08 PM
Finally I broke the scary zipper ban and tried this tutorial:
Once the spell was broken I couldn't stop the flow and this is the result of some hours:

27  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Another round of roaming gnomes on: June 06, 2010 10:02:36 AM
I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in another round of roaming gnomes?
I could organize this time.
What do you think?
28  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Swapping food (from Europe to the US) on: May 11, 2010 09:03:26 AM
I'd like to send my swap partner some homemade cookies.

Does anyone know if that might cause any troubles?

I often swapped store bought sweets but only recently found out that you have to register food items when sending to the US. I've never had any problems though.

Does anyone know more?Huh

29  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Little Birdie Sling for Mommy on: April 19, 2010 02:24:23 AM
My mom asked me to make her a Birdie Sling for Christmas. Well, I finally managed to finish it around Easter...
She wanted the actual bag a bit shorter than in the original pattern, that's why it looks a little different.

After I finished this one, she asked for another bag for her birthday (which she'll probably get by Christmas Tongue)
30  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Feathery Fairy Dream on: April 04, 2010 01:13:27 PM
Inspired by http://www.cs-fantasien-aus-wolle.de/Index.htm I made this little fairy for my cousin's daughter who's got her First Communion next weekend. It looks a bit like a bride so I'll make a tiny necklace with a cross.

C&C welcome!
