21  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Welcome Baby Boy on: August 05, 2010 04:26:09 PM
One of our friends is having a baby soon so I finally got the chance to try my hand at baby clothing. For the little baby booties I used this tutorial http://www.michaelmillerfabrics.com/blog/cloth_shoe.pdf

For the little jacket I used a pattern that I found in my mum's older than dirt magazines. I'm glad she kept all the old patterns she used to make my sister and me clothes. Some are really really cute.

I still need to attach ribbons to tie up the jacket but it was late and I was tired. I wanted to post the picture though.

22  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Clutch Galore! on: August 05, 2010 04:06:08 PM
Finally I broke the scary zipper ban and tried this tutorial:

Once the spell was broken I couldn't stop the flow and this is the result of some hours:

23  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Another round of roaming gnomes on: June 06, 2010 10:02:36 AM
I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in another round of roaming gnomes?
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=271742.0
I could organize this time.
What do you think?
24  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Swapping food (from Europe to the US) on: May 11, 2010 09:03:26 AM
I'd like to send my swap partner some homemade cookies.

Does anyone know if that might cause any troubles?

I often swapped store bought sweets but only recently found out that you have to register food items when sending to the US. I've never had any problems though.

Does anyone know more?Huh

Thanks!
25  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Little Birdie Sling for Mommy on: April 19, 2010 02:24:23 AM
My mom asked me to make her a Birdie Sling for Christmas. Well, I finally managed to finish it around Easter...
She wanted the actual bag a bit shorter than in the original pattern, that's why it looks a little different.

After I finished this one, she asked for another bag for her birthday (which she'll probably get by Christmas Tongue)
26  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Feathery Fairy Dream on: April 04, 2010 01:13:27 PM
Inspired by http://www.cs-fantasien-aus-wolle.de/Index.htm I made this little fairy for my cousin's daughter who's got her First Communion next weekend. It looks a bit like a bride so I'll make a tiny necklace with a cross.

C&C welcome!
27  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Elephant cushion on: January 02, 2010 06:52:06 AM
I made this cushion for an OWS swap quite a while ago.
The front is yellow sateen and the back is dark brown corduroy. The elephant is of the same fabric as the back.

28  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / felt and beads necklace on: January 02, 2010 06:34:18 AM
This is a Christmas present for my best friend. She asked for a blackish necklace. Here it is, rather anthracite than black

It's felt beads and glass beads. I like to mix materials, especially with felt.
29  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Emmeline Apron on: January 02, 2010 06:28:56 AM
I made an Emmeline apron (pattern by Sew Liberated) for my best friend for Christmas. This one is not reversible though, like the original pattern.

Fabric is Joel Dewberry "Ginseng"
