It's not quite the same. The version you found is made with stripes. I used squares which I folded and then put all 30 squares together. It's more like the ones SuperStinger suggested but as she said it's rather origami style.
I've got the instructions from a German book. But I assume that you should find instructions in books on unit or modular origami. I have checked the internet but couldn't find the instructions I used. Sorry!
