Some of my friends are about to graduate from university soon. Since they're all leaving then to start their teaching career I thought it would be a good idea to give them something nice to take with them. I haven't had any good idea yet (as at the moment I'm working on my final thesis that is due in a few weeks), so if you have any idea, please let me know! Thanks!

Thanks! I guess a big red button would look good... Haven't thought about that before but it sounds great. What I had in mind was a kind of embroidered applique. Unfortunately I haven't found what I had in mind.

I found the pattern for this pencil case at a fair. The ones they had there had plaid red fabric at the bottom. I got the polka-dotted fabric from my aunt and I think it looks even better than the original one  I'm still looking for any patch, maybe a toadstool... What do you think?
